I’d very much like to try it… Can you compile to HTML5 and repost it? Thankx!!

I have added a web build now, seems to work fine, or at least as well as the windows one did  ;)

It is funny, but only for a while. I mean, the problem is that I’m always killed at the second or third wave. The first day is spent building the basic defenses. Then you have to build for repairs and to extend the defenses; an impossible task. Maybe more time during day? Or at least the first day? The main defect I found is that it is difficult to move the heroe around. Also, placing the ballistas and turning them is counterintuitive… I ended up with two ballistas pointing to other way around!

Thanks for playing, yes the balance could definitely use some adjusting, its a bit too hard at the moment, there are 3 waves per level, personally i can get to the 2nd level at least without too much problem. The character movement and placing stuff is kind of awkward though I agree, best I could come up with in the Ludum Dare 72 hours. Hopefully will make a post jam version with some improvements and maybe some new placeables to spice it up.

Yep, but one way or the other I cannot get past the second level. One way would be to limit the new monster generator when you mine over it. Anyway, I feel that you’ve solved the problem you had in Pixel Town: it is very fun to play, but once you blow up the first monster generators, then you can freely concentrate on growing your city. Great game but the question is still in the air… what about a second installment of Pixel Town? ;-)

Its nice to hear that anyone out there has any interest in a sequel to the Pixel Town game I made so long ago. I did start playing around with making a low poly version of it a while back but didn't get very far. I was struggling to come up with anything to give enough of a twist on the classic City builder mechanics that can be found already done better in games like Caesar 4, Sim city, etc.  to make it seem worthwhile. But who knows maybe one day. I do feel slightly tempted to try making a low poly version of this game now though .
